Lions Gift of Sight is supported by the Minnesota Lions Vision Foundation through service fees and financial contributions. The Minnesota Lions Vision Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) charitable organization, and donations may be tax deductible, according to Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations.

Financial contributions are used to improve eye bank operations and to increase awareness and commitment to donation through education and community activities.
