Helping to restore sight is an amazing legacy for any person to leave.
Many eye donors transform lives and give sight through corneal transplants. Other donors contribute to the knowledge of research scientists who study diseases like macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma. Donors also give sight by adding to the knowledge and skills of the next generation of eye doctors. Thanks to the generous gifts of eye donors, countless individuals can or will see again.
Honoring Sight is a special event we hold to honor recent Minnesota eye donors, their families and corneal recipients. Event speakers include a surgeon, a donor family member, a corneal transplant recipient and staff. It is an event full of gratitude and a way to recognize the generosity and positive impact of eye donors. Invitations are mailed to donor families and recipients, and families have the option to submit a photo of their loved one for our event memorial video.
Our next event will honor eye donors from January to June of 2026 and RSVPs are due by October 1, 2026. There is no cost to attend and you may bring guests.

Parking is at Anderson Parking Facility (on the corner of Cretin & Grand Avenues) with a rate of $1.55/hour and needs to be prepaid in the ramp after you park. You will need your license plate number to pay.
